The reasons that contribute to the development of acne can be hormonal imbalance , weakened immunity, stress, hyperkeratosis, various diseases of the digestive system, dysbacteriosis. The reason may be excessive work of human sebaceous glands, inflammatory processes, properties of the skin microflora. External factors can also cause acne, such as heat and humid climate, solar radiation, excessive cleanliness or mania for cleanliness, some specific medications.

Juvenile pimples and spots on the face, neck and back.

They appear as a result of hormonal changes during the maturation period, which lead to increased functioning of the sebaceous glands and clogged pores. They are also common in adults, especially women before menstruation and if they take contraceptives.

Symptoms of acne

The symptoms of acne are a rash on the skin in the form of black, white pimples, cystic formations with purulent contents. The rash is accompanied by pain, itching, redness and swelling of the affected area.

What is important to know about acne on the face, why they occur

The most common cause of acne on the face is hormonal restructuring of the body. Of course, the teenage period is the clearest example of this condition. In human life, this is the period with the most hormonal activities. Inside the body, a hormonal storm is raging, and outside we see the consequences of that – a harsh voice, a change in body proportions and, alas, acne. Few manage to avoid this scourge. Even if the growth is within normal limits, and the skin is quite thin and smooth, it is impossible to pass puberty without a single pimple – they will certainly appear, although sometimes in small quantities. Similar work of hormonal glands occurs in women during pregnancy and in certain phases of the menstrual cycle (and this can be accompanied in some cases by acne) or in certain endocrine problems in older people. Even newborns can have acne-related conditions. NStre, even bad air, can become pathogenic with acne.

Development from ordinary skin blemishes to acne

Acne and blackheads do not only appear on the face. Chest, neck and shoulders are quite common places for inflammation of the sebaceous glands. Acne on the back even has its name – throw up. Acne mainly affects teenagers and adults.

Acne on the body is caused by the same factors as acne on the face, ie hypertrophied sebaceous glands and bacteria.

When sebum or dead cells accumulate inside the follicle, it becomes clogged. Then it turns black and when the bacteria enters, an inflamed pimple is created.

There are more sebaceous glands on the face, back, shoulders and forearms, so the follicles become clogged with sebum and dead skin cells.

Heat, friction and sweat can cause some types of acne

Rubbing or pressing on the skin in combination with heat or sweat can irritate and inflame the follicles, causing mechanical acne. The reason is tight clothing, tight collars, backpacks, belt straps and sportswear or equipment.

Sweat can also cause acne. To reduce irritation, take a shower immediately after exercise or work. Do not use aggressive hygiene products: gels, shower soap with scents, mineral oil, synthetic components. Carefully clean the skin and use makeup with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
